Luanne Platter

Luanne Platter is the niece of Hank and Peggy Hill. She came to stay with the Hills while her mother served time in jail for stabbing her father with a fork. Although Luanne used to play the field with several guys (including her now deceased boyfriend Buckley), she had a religious experience and became born again. Luanne focused on her Christian puppets, The Manger Babies, and her career as a hair stylist. Luanne eventually married Lucky, the father of her as yet unborn child and the two moved a few houses down the street from Hank and Peggy. Luanne views Hank like a father and even asked Hank to stand in for the Father of the Bride at her wedding.
